25 foot Mega-tree (2D version) hooked up in a very small space to complete troubleshooting. Light sets around the exterior, controllers make up the center ring, the middle is a jumble of power cords and network CAT-5 cables.

Network testing - all controllers powered up and communicating. The show this year will require 5 separate Ethernet networks. Once installed in the field these controllers will deliver over 7500 channels of POWER!

New mini tree frames were constructed out of PVC electrical conduit. The base was made by heating the PVC in a 220F oven for 10 minutes and then shaping the pieces around a wood frame. The finished frame is shown on the right.

We are using Light-O-Rama Cosmic Color Bulbs to create our Suspended Animation Strings. These will be new additions to the show this year and required a 10' extension in the middle of the string. This "field modification" is not approved by Light-O-Rama, but come by the show this year to see if our trial is a boom or a bust! My bet is our maple trees will be amazing.
